Combined SMS Filtering Material

General Description

The combined filtering material (SMS — Spunbond — Meltblown — Spunbond or SMCS — Spunbond — Meltblown — Composite — Spunbond) is used for manufacturing pocket filters of various filtration classes from M5 to F9 and is produced in the form of a sleeve consisting of three or four layers of materials: the outer layer is colored spunbond determining the filtration class of the material; the middle layer is meltblown electrostatically charged volumetric material based on ultra-fine polypropylene fibers; the inner layer is colorless spunbond or a polyester pre-filter (composite) for capturing large particles (allows to increase dust holding capacity and extend the life of the entire filter).

The combined SMS filtering material uses longitudinal separators as dividers, which prevent sticking to adjacent pockets during operation. Longitudinal and transverse seams of the filtering material are sealed using ultrasonic welding on modern equipment.

Each batch of filtering material is mandatory tested on an ALF 114 tester (TOPAS, GmbH), in accordance with GOST R EN 779-2014.
