Filtration of supply and exhaust air is necessary to clean it from macro and micro contaminants of various nature: sand, dust, aerosol suspensions, odors, smoke, steam, toxic gases, infectious and radioactive particles, etc.
A simple panel air filter consists of a cut of filter media fixed with a grid. The filter element is in turn fastened with a metal U-shaped frame profile. Panel filters are placed at the air intake for basic air cleaning from large contaminants.
A cassette filter with panel construction is an upgraded panel filter. The filter media in a cassette filter is "crumpled" into a fold (pleated) and fixed on a pleated support grid. The pleated filter element is placed in a metal U-shaped or rigid rectangular frame.
The filter element of such designs is represented by a voluminous non-woven material sewn in the form of pocket bags fixed in a rigid frame on crossbars. The greater the number and depth of pockets, the larger the filter surface area and the longer the product's service life. Depending on the type of filter media used, pocket filters are suitable for the first and second stages of air purification.
In compact W-type filters, a pleated filter pack is installed in the housing at an angle to the airflow in the form of W-shaped zigzags. The W-shape of the filter element is fixed by a reinforced grid. The filter pack itself is placed in a lightweight, impact-resistant, moisture-resistant polymer housing. The pleating and compact arrangement of the filter element significantly increases the effective area of the filter media. This increases dust holding capacity, and therefore the duration of the product's operation.
HEPA (High Efficiency Particle Absorption) filters are highly efficient devices for final ultra-fine air purification that has undergone preliminary (coarse and fine) treatment. The mechanism of capturing contaminating microparticles in HEPA filters is fundamentally different from others and is due to the adhesive properties of the filter fiber. A HEPA cartridge is a filter pack made of ultra-thin corrugated separated glass paper hermetically mounted in the housing profile.

    INFORMATION

Cassette filters are rectangular structures made of galvanized or plastic U-shaped profile and filter media of the corresponding filtration class, placed inside the frame. The filter media is either pleated chemical fiber on a support grid or thermostatically treated without a support grid.

    The profile can be 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 48, 96, or 100 mm deep.

The frame made of galvanized profile is manufactured on an automated forming line without human intervention, with the ability to change the frame depth from 20 to 100 mm, and has a special design to enhance the rigidity of the filter frame.
